Mary Elizabeth Myers (King) passed away peacefully on July 27, 2024, in Cullman, Alabama, at the age of 70. Born on June 20, 1954, in Birmingham, Alabama, she was the cherished daughter of the late Roland and Naomi King.

Mary was affectionately known by many as "Nana," a testament to her loving and nurturing nature. Throughout her life, Mary was a beacon of strength, faith, and kindness. Her career as a florist spanned five decades, with one of her proudest achievements being her tenure at Hicks Florist. Her passion for flowers was only surpassed by her love for her family and the joy she found in the Christmas season.

She leaves behind a legacy of love and perseverance, survived by her daughter, Stephanie Knotts; brother, Rex Boling (Melocena) grandson, Hunter Best (Lexie); granddaughter, Haley Knott (James); and several other family members and friends who will forever cherish her memory.

A service to honor Mary's life will be held at the Blount County/Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel ,17885 State Highway 160 in Cleveland, AL. 35049 on Thursday, August 1, 2024, at 7:00 pm. A visitation will be Thursday, August 1, 2024 from 6:00 pm until 7:00 pm at the funeral home.

Mary's life was a true testament to the power of positivity and faith, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
