Mrs. Mary Nell (Posey ) Johnson age 81, of Hayden passed away Wednesday, October 25th, 2023 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

Survivors include her husband of 64 years Leon Johnson, daughters Debbie Martin and Annette Satterfield, sisters Mableen Beason (Johnnie), Malinda Childers (Jimmie), grandchildren Shea Stevenson, Christy Robertson (Justin), Haley Satterfield, great grandchildren Taylor Stevenson (Justin Mays), Silas Stevenson, Annabelle Stevenson, Harper Robertson and great-great grandchild Kingsley Mays. She was preceded in death by her parents Mr. and Mrs. Howard and Mary Frances Posey and grandchild Shane Stevenson.

The family will receive friends at the High Rock Congregational Methodist Church Saturday, October 28th, 2023 from 11:00am until 12:00pm. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, October 28th, 2023 at 12:00 pm in the High Rock Congregational Methodist Church, with burial to follow at High Rock Cemetery in Hayden, Alabama.

Mrs. Johnson was involved in her church, where she had been a member for years. She enjoyed reading her Bible. Mrs. Johnson was a loving caregiver to family and friends. She had a green thumb and loved having flowers around her home. She had a special admiration for hummingbirds. Mrs. Johnson loved her family and she will be greatly missed.

Pallbearers will be Justin Robertson, Justin Mays, Alan Copeland, Jimmie Childers, Shea Stevenson and Silas Stevenson.
