Maxine Davis Robertson, age 92, of Oneonta passed away Tuesday, October 18th, 2016. Mrs. Robertson loved birds, especially hummingbirds; enjoyed watching golf, TV evanglists and the Gaithers; delighted in working in her flower gardens; was known as a great cook who savored moments with her family. Survivors include son Eddie (Sue) Robertson; daughter Carolyn Gurley; son in law Gerald Miller; daughter in law Deana Robertson; brothers Jessie (Mary) Davis, Johnny (Kay) Davis; sister Betty (Doyle) Horton; sister in law Betty Davis; grandchildren Karen Seals, Sandra Miller, Wendy Landman, Stanley Miller, Mark Miller, Mike Miller, Glenda Schwanke, Vince Robertson, Daphne Robertson, Jessica Robertson, Adam (T.J.) Wood, Joseph Wood, Matthew Wood; 21 great grandchildren; great great grandchildren 13 and 1 on the way. She is preceded in death by her parents Loyal Otis and Amedia Davis; stepmother Ruby Davis; husband Alton Robertson; son Loyal Robertson; daughter Edna Miller; brothers Lee Davis, Paul Davis; sister Jamie (Jim) Graves. The family will receive friends at the Blount County Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel 17885 State Hwy 160 Cleveland, Alabama 35049 on Saturday, October 22nd, 2016 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, October 22nd, 2016 at 11:00 am in Blount County Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow at Dailey's Chapel Cemetery in Oneonta, Alabama.
