Michael "Scot" Sanford, age 42, of Oneonta passed away Monday, December 21st, 2015 at his residence.

Survivors include his mother Bonnie Sanford, brother James (Margie) Sanford, nephews Dylan and Andrew Sanford. He is preceded in death by his father Tommy Lewayne Sanford.

The family will receive friends at the Blount County Cleveland Funeral Home 17885 State Highway 160 Cleveland, Alabama 35049 on Wednesday, December 23rd, 2015 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Mr. Sanford will be cremated following visitation. Family will hold private funeral services at a later date.

Mr. Sanford was employed with Evan's Cemetery Service. He was an avid Auburn football fan, nascar fan and he enjoyed golf.
