Milburn Earl Sherbet, age 76, of Locust Fork passed away Monday, August 4th, 2014 at St. Vincent's East Hospital. Survivors include Wife Travis Ann Doty Sherbet; Son Glenn Earl & Tammy Sherbet; Sisters Mable Riddle, Pauline & Sonny Evans; Grandchildren Cole Neely, Toya Neely, Savannah Amanda Sherbet, Kana Ann Sherbet, Dalton Brandon Earl Sherbet, Cody Palmer; Great-grandchildren Arley Whited, Brennon Whited, Memory Coker, Chloe Neely. Mr.Sherbet was preceded in death by his parents William and Mary Zelma Sherbet; his daughters Vicky Millette Neely and Jerri Kay Sherbet; his brother Harold Sherbet; and grandchild Brandon Palmer. Mr. Sherbet enjoyed the farm, visiting with buddies and his family. He was a Mason with Locust Fork Lodge 481. The family will receive friends at The Blount County/Cleveland Funeral Home Tuesday, August 5th, 2014, 6:00 pm 8:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, August 6th, 2014 at 1:00 pm at The Blount County/Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. Gary Freeman officiating. Mr. Sherbet will lie in state at the funeral home on Wednesday from 8:30 AM until service time. Interment will be at Nectar Cemetery in Cleveland, Alabama. Blount County/ Cleveland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
