Obituary

Mrs. Miriam "Lowe" Kelso age 83, of Oneonta passed away Friday, July 14th, 2023 at her home.

Survivors include her husband Curtis Kelso, sons Richard Otinger (Carolyn), Brian Blackmon, Bennie Ray Kelso, Bobbie Dale Kelso (Charlotte), Allen Kelso (Donna), daughters Debra Fisher, Betty Faulkner, Brenda Menonite (Mickey), brother William Lee Lowe (Emma), sisters Barbara Dobbs, Martha Blackmon (Donald), and 15 grandchildren and a host of great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Bill and Rilla Lowe, brother James Earl Lowe, sisters Ovella Bickerstaff, Geneva Bellew and Nell McGill.

The family will receive friends at the Blount County/Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel 17885 State Hwy 160 Cleveland, Alabama 35049 Monday, July 17th, 2023 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, July 18th, 2023 at 2:00 pm in the Blount County/Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow at Tidwell Cemetery in Allgood, Alabama.

Mrs. Kelso loved to cook and she made the best biscuits. She loved the mountains and just riding around going on day trips with her family. Mrs. Kelso enjoyed genealogy and was the family historian. She loved her family, dearly. They were the most important thing to her.
