Myrtle Faye (Brown) Hogeland, age 77, of Blountsville passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 23rd, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. She enjoyed reading; listening to all kinds of music; sewing; being with friends and family especially her grandchildren. She was an avid Alabama football fan. Survivors include daughter Jessica Walker, husband John; sister Ann Hogeland, husband Donald; grandchildren Makaila Hogeland and Chayse Walker; nieces and nephews Greg Hogeland, wife Paula; Steve Hogeland, wife Devin; Keri Smith; a host of great nieces and nephews, and lots of friends. She is preceded in death by her parents Hershel and Ruby Brown; husband Jessie Hogeland; and son Jamie Hogeland. The family will receive friends at the Blount County Cleveland Funeral Home on Friday, October 25th, 2019 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm.
