Nolan G. Bryant Sr. age 89, of Oneonta passed away Wednesday, September 15th, 2021 at St. Vincent's East. Survivors include daughter Carol Marsh (Jim), son Nolan Bryant Jr. (Laura), brothers Edwin Bryant, Larry Bryant, sister Addie Butler, grandchildren Brian Marsh (Malinda), Jessica Boucher (John Mark), Matthew Bryant (Heather),Valisa Bailey, great- grandchildren Caleb Bailey, Chloe Bailey, Joel Boucher, Logan Marsh, and Finn Bryant. Mr. Bryant was preceded in death by his wife Hazel Bryant, parents Jewell James and Roxie White Bryant, 2 brothers and 5 sisters. Mr. Bryant was a veteran of the Korean War and a Blount County native. He worked for Lockheed Martin in the aircraft test equipment department. He enjoyed cars and fixing them up. He loved to make things, He liked to read and study his Bible. He also enjoyed meeting his buddies every morning for breakfast, at Jack's or McDonald's in Oneonta. The family will hold a Memorial Service at a later date. Blount County/Cleveland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
