Olga (Meier) Sherrell, age 87, of Hayden passed away Sunday, September 27th, 2015 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. Survivors include sons Larry Joe and Shirley Sherrell, Ira Wayne and JoEtte Sherrell, Randy and Eva Sherrell, Phillip and Susan Sherrell; daughter in law Marie Saint; a multitude of grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents Jacob Meier and Lydia Barnett; husband Billy Jodie Sherrell; sons William Allen Sherrell and Dwight Sherrell. The family will receive friends at the Blount County Cleveland Funeral Home 17885 State Highway 160 Cleveland, Alabama 35049 on Tuesday, September 29th, 2015 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, September 30th, 2015 at 11:00 am in the Blount County Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at South Cemetery in Blountsville. Mrs. Sherrell was retired from Blue Bell/Wrangler as a seamstress. She loved sewing, knitting, crocheting, and cooking. Blount County/ Cleveland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
