IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Patricia Darlyne
White
December 31, 1959 – September 7, 2025
Darlyne Broom White, 65, of Cleveland, passed away in her home on September 7th, 2025. She was surrounded by her family.
Darlyne grew up in Susan Moore, AL with her parents and two younger siblings, Tawnya and Joey.
She met the love of her life, Steve, at the age of 18. Their love story began at the old Jacks in Oneonta. Steve describes his first encounter with Darlyne as seeing a silhouette through the glass windows. She was covered in dirt from playing softball and wasn't wearing any shoes. He then offered her his shoes and she took them. Shortly after, they began dating and Steve White got more than his shoes back that day.
Darlyne fell in love all over again when she gave birth to her two sons, Mitch and Tyler. Whether it was sports, school, or life- she was always in their corner and their biggest supporter.
She was no stranger to hard work. She perused a career in healthcare and when she wasn't at work, she was working on the family farm.
And while she had many interests and hobbies, her absolute favorite thing in life was being a GiGi to Romy and Townes, to whom she loved with all her heart and soul.
She loved her family and friends fiercely and unconditionally. She lived with integrity and whether they were a friend or a stranger, she treated them with the same respect and kindness.
Darlyne White was never anything but herself, and that is why she was so loved and will be deeply missed.
Well done, good and faithful servant… Enter into the joy of your master." - Matthew 25:23
