Paul Ray Ratliff age 82 , of Hayden passed away Wednesday, March 15th, 2017 at the VA Hospital in Birmingham. . Survivors include sons: Kenneth Russell Rogers (Belinda), Steven Mark Ratliff daughter-in-law, Diane Ratliff, grandchildren, Katie Atkinson, Kyle Ratliff (Nikki), Ryan Ratliff. He was preceded in death by his parents: Walter Lee & Della Weems Ratliff, and wife: Hattie Sue Brandon Ratliff. The family will receive friends at the Blount County Cleveland Funeral Home, Cleveland, Alabama Thursday, March 16th, 2017 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held Friday, March 17th, 2017 at 11:00 am at the Nectar First Congregational Methodist Church, with burial to follow at Nectar Cemetery in Hayden, Alabama . Mr. Ratliff will lie in state at the church one hour prior to services. Mr. Ratliff was self employed as a farmer. He enjoyed reading, hunting and fishing. Blount County/ Cleveland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
