Mr. Phillip Cox age 67, of Pinson passed away Saturday, February 4th, 2023 at his residence.

Survivors include: his brothers Keith Cox , Gary Cox (Kim), his sister Glena Cox Trammell (Scott), nieces Lindsey Cox and Kristen Cox, Hannah Trammell and Shannon Trammell Pencek, great niece Lilly Pencek and great nephew Ace Pencek. He was preceded in death by his parents William Henry and Sarah "Langley" Cox.

The family will receive friends at the Blount County/ Cleveland Funeral Home 17885 St Hwy 160 Cleveland, Alabama 35049 Friday, February 10th, 2023 from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held Friday, February 10th, 2023 at 2:00 pm in Blount County/ Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow at Cleveland Memory Gardens in Cleveland, Alabama.

Mr. Cox owned his own vacuum store for years, he was a member of the Palmerdale United Methodist Church. He was an "Alabama" fan and enjoyed cars, especially Nascar, he liked Radio- Controlled cars and planes. Mr.Cox was a simple caring man, who enjoyed helping others and loved his family.
