Robert "Bobby" Jackson Carlile, 69, of Birmingham, Alabama, passed away on July 31, 2024. Born on November 22, 1954, in Birmingham, Alabama, Bobby was a beloved figure known for his quiet, loving nature and his dedication to his family and friends. Throughout his life, Bobby worked diligently and took great joy in simple pleasures like spending time at the lake, cheering for Alabama football, and being surrounded by loved ones.

Bobby was a cherished member of a large family and is survived by his brothers, Joe Carlile and Jimmy Carlile (sisters, Freida Cleckler, Ruby Cardwell, and Gertrude Carlile; his son, Sammy McCormack; his beloved granddaughter, Megan Lewis (Justin); and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews who will dearly miss his kind-hearted soul. He was preceded in death by his parents, Warren and Pearl Carlile, and his brother, Richard Carlile.

A service to honor Bobby's life will be held on Tuesday, August 06, 2024, at 11:00 am at Blount County/Cleveland Funeral Home, 17885 State Highway 160, Cleveland, Alabama, with visitation beginning at 10:00 am. The family kindly requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital in Bobby's memory.
