Robert "Mac" Champion age 61, of Pinson passed away Saturday, April 22nd, 2017 at Grandview Medical Center. Survivors include sister Janice Searcy, Loretta Hall, daughter Mechelle Champion Pinkston, sister-in-law Linda Champion, grandchildren Tony, Tiffany, and Brandon, several nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Preceded in death by parents Robert and Helen Champion, brothers Bobby and Nelson Champion. The family will receive friends at the Blount County/ Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel Thursday, April 27th, 2017 from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, April 27th, 2017 at 2:00 pm in Blount County Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow at Antioch Cemetery in Oneonta, Alabama. Mr. Champion loved his dog "peewee" and spending time with his brother Bobby. Blount County/ Cleveland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
