Robin Penor, born January 7, 1956, passed away on October 16, 2026.
She brought warmth to others not only through her work, but also through the many personal interests that reflected her creativity and kindness.
Robin will be remembered as a woman whose life was marked by care for others and by the simple, generous joys she shared so freely. She loved people, and that love showed itself in the way she moved through the world. Social work was close to her heart, and she especially loved working in nursing homes, where compassion, patience, and human connection meant so much. She brought warmth to others not only through her work, but also through the many personal interests that reflected her creativity and kindness.
Robin loved to bake and found happiness in making cake decorations, turning ordinary moments into something beautiful and celebratory. She also made dog biscuits professionally, a reflection of both her skill and her thoughtful spirit. She enjoyed going to Washington, D.C., and was an avid reader and audiobook listener, always finding companionship, interest, and delight in stories and ideas.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Estees; her son, Jonas Estees; her father, Jerome Sullins; her mother, Betty Overcash Sullins; and her brother, Tim Sullins. Their memories remained a lasting part of her life and story.
Robin is survived by her sister, Sylvia Campbell (Gary), and by her nephew, Jason Sullins. May they find comfort in the love she gave, the memories she created, and the many lives she touched through her caring heart and generous nature.
A graveside service will be held on October 17, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Hopewell Cemetery.
