Sarah Faust Sloan age 86, of Oneonta passed away Thursday, July 8th, 2021 at her residence. Survivors include son Frank "Jack" Sloan, Jr. (Cathy), daughter Susan Sloan Johnson (Barry), grandchildren Barry Michael Johnson (Brooke), Stephen Frank Johnson (Andrea), Rebecca Sloan Praytor (Chance), great grandchildren Teagan Johnson, Tate Johnson, Paisley Johnson, Luke Johnson, and Frank Praytor. She is preceded in death by her husband Frank Jackson Sloan, Sr., her parents Carl Faust and Floy Jane Causey Faust, sister Jane Faust and Aunt Yvette Causey. The family will receive friends at the Blount County/ Cleveland Funeral Home 17885 St Hwy 160 Cleveland, Alabama 35049 Saturday, July 10th, 2021 from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, July 10th, 2021 at 2:00 pm in the Blount County/ Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow at Dailey's Chapel Cemetery in Rosa, Alabama. Mrs. Sloan loved working in the garden and her flowers. She enjoyed fishing and adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Blount County/Cleveland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
