Sharon Mae Johnson, born February 1, 1945, passed away on September 5, 2026.

She especially enjoyed visiting an Old Covered Bridge, a place that reflected her appreciation for peaceful and memorable moments.

Sharon will be remembered as a woman whose life was rooted in love, faith, and the simple joys that made every day meaningful. She loved flowers and found happiness in being outside, taking in the beauty around her. She loved to travel, loved cooking, and loved dancing, bringing warmth and energy to the lives of those around her. She especially enjoyed visiting an Old Covered Bridge, a place that reflected her appreciation for peaceful and memorable moments. She also loved going to church, and her faith was an important part of her life.

Above all, Sharon loved her family most of all. She was the mother of three sons, a loving grandmother, and a loving sister whose care and devotion were felt deeply by those who knew her. Her family was the center of her world, and she gave them the steady love, pride, and comfort that will remain with them always.

She is survived by her sons, Dale Brooks (Lynn), David L. Brooks, and Don Brooks. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Chris Brooks (Rachel), Don Brooks, Jr. (Caitlin), and Montanna Hogeland (Jesse), as well as her great-grandchildren, Madison Brooks, Mallory Brooks, Bradley Brooks, Billie Brooks, and Raven Hogeland. Sharon is also survived by her brother, Willie Henderson, and her sisters, Judy Osbourne and Marsha Fifer. Her close friends, James and Tracey Dixon, will also remember her fondly, as their friendship was a treasured part of her life.

Sharon was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Johnson; her father, James David Henderson; her mother, Odelia Moore Buford; and her sister, Geraldine Carlee.

Her family was the center of her world, and she gave them the steady love, pride, and comfort that will remain with them always.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on September 9, 2026, at Mount Joy Cemetery, 2245 Five Points Road, Cleveland, Alabama 35049.

Sharon Mae Johnson leaves behind a legacy of love, family devotion, faith, and joyful living. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who had the blessing of knowing her.
