Sheila Katherine "Kathy" (Wilson) Allen, age 60, of PInson passed away Thursday, October 12th, 2017 at St. Vincent's East. Mrs. Allen was a wonderful, loving mother, grandmother and aunt to her family and lots of children in the community. She worked for many years as a Store Manager for Bumper to Bumper. Survivors include husband John Edward "Eddie" Allen; sons Dennis Wayne (Tina) Brown, Randall Brown; daughters Courtaney (Jimmy) Welch, Molly Allen, Connie Allen, Layla Allen; brother James Riley "Jimmy" Wilson, Jr.; sisters Kitty (Thelmon) Wilson Rochester, Karmon Lenora (Jeffrey) Carver; grandchildren Taylor Ewing, Victoria Brown, Dylan Brown, Hunter Scott Brown, Tre Welch, Kelton Boykin, Jordan Boykin; and great grandchild Lainey Ewing. Mrs. Allen is preceded in death by her parents James Riley and Mary Lee Hooks Wilson, brother Wallace Wilson. The family will receive friends at the Blount County/Cleveland Funeral Home on Sunday, October 15th, 2017 from 12:30 pm until 1:30 pm. Graveside funeral services will be held Sunday, October 15th, 2017 at 2:00 pm in Bethlehem Cemetery in Trafford, Alabama. Blount County/Cleveland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
