Sylvia Winkles age 91, of Trafford, passed away Wednesday, April 29th, 2020 at Diversicare in Oneonta. Survivors include her son Larry Winkles, step-sons Thomas Winkles, Terry Lee Winkles, step-daughter Karen Morton, sister Helen Sheplar, three grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by parents George Alex Cobb and Zeddie King, her husband Henry Winkles, brother George Cobb, sisters Mary Ellen Rognas, Larue Hallmark, and Nell Kanda. Mrs. Winkles loved fishing and working in the yard. Family and friends gathered for a private graveside service, Friday May 1, 2020 at the Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Trafford, Alabama. Blount County/Cleveland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
