Terry Lynn Glass, a beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend, passed away on March 3, 2026, in Oneonta, Alabama, at the age of 44. Born on May 28, 1981, Terry was a dedicated member of his community who enjoyed a wide range of interests, including fishing, music, and sports.
Terry was known for his passion for playing the drums, often sharing his musical talents at various churches. He was an avid supporter of the Alabama Crimson Tide and a devoted fan of high school football and basketball. His love for music and sports brought joy to those around him, and he cherished every moment spent with family and friends.
Surviving Terry are his loving wife, Barbie Glass; his son, Joshua Austin Glass; his daughter, Larken Ariel Glass; his parents, Roy and Janie Glass; his brothers, Aaron Glass and Roy Lee Glass; his grandparents, Virgil and Vivian Smith, and William and Luven Glass; as well as his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Doyle and Penny Hyde. Terry is also survived by a multitude of nieces and nephews who will remember him fondly.
His life was characterized by the love he had for his family and his commitment to being a good father, son, brother, husband, and friend. Terry's warmth and kindness will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Funeral services will be held on March 7, 2026, at Cleveland Funeral Home. The visitation will take place from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, followed by the funeral service at 1:00 PM. A burial will then follow at Mount Joy Cemetery at 1:45 PM.
Pallbearers serving in honor of Terry include Jimmy Phillips, Donald Smith, Bryan Faulkner, Dennis Matthews, Charles Talley, and Caleb Salamone.
