It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Tracy Posey Holladay, who left us suddenly on June 8, 2025, at the age of 53. Born on June 29, 1971, in Birmingham, Alabama, Tracy brought joy, laughter, and warmth to all who knew her. She was a cherished daughter, a loving wife, a devoted sister, and an unforgettable friend.

Tracy was the daughter of Walton "Doc" Posey and Sandra Lowry Posey, both of whom preceded her in death, along with her beloved grandparents, Web and Edna Lowry, and Dan and Pauline Posey. She is survived by her devoted husband, Robert Holladay, with whom she shared many joyful years of marriage. Tracy's sister, Michelle Hawkins (Jeff), was not just a sibling but a lifelong companion, sharing countless memories from their childhood, including their adventures wading in the creek.

Tracy's spirit touched many lives, including her close friend, Debbi Marsh (Johnny), who was like a sister to her. She was also a proud aunt to her nephew, Stephen Walker (Rachel), and great-aunt to Harrison Walker, who brought her immense joy. She leaves behind her cousin, Eddie Posey, and her god sister, Etta Beatty (Millard), who will forever hold her memory dear.

A proud graduate of Cleveland High School in Cleveland, Alabama, Tracy went on to find fulfillment in her career at the Mercedes Benz Plant in Vance, Alabama. She was known for her outspoken nature, but behind her boldness lay a heart of gold. Tracy was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need and cherished her family and friends deeply.

Tracy's love for life was evident in her numerous hobbies and interests. Whether she was riding motorcycles with Robert, kayaking, or soaking in the beauty of the mountains, she embraced every moments Her fondness for the beach brought her peace, and she often reminisced about the simple joys of wading in the creek with her sister.

In honor of Tracy's life and the love she shared, a Celebration of Life will be held on June 29, 2025, at 5:00 PM at the home of Jeff and Michelle Hawkins. The family wishes to extend heartfelt thanks to everyone who called and came by during this difficult time.

Tracy Posey Holladay will be deeply missed by her family and friends, but her vibrant spirit, love for adventure, and kindness will forever remain in our hearts. As we gather to remember her, we invite all who knew and loved her to come together and celebrate the beautiful life she lived.
