Troy E. Hawkins, aged 88, passed away on February 15, 2024, in Oneonta, Alabama. He was born on May 15, 1935, in Alabama. Troy, a dedicated farmer. Farming was his life, and he enjoyed gardening, maintaining the cemetery, and fixing equipment. He was a loving caregiver to his father and cherished spending time fishing. Troy was a fan of Alabama football.

He is survived by his wife, Estelle "Herndon" Hawkins, daughter Carol Banks (Chris), and granddaughter Meryn Banks. Troy was preceded in death by his parents, George and Mary Hawkins, brothers Grady, Jay, Douglas, Billy, and Sonny Hawkins, as well as sisters Bonnie Whitted, Lillian Doty, and Evelyn Lowe.

A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, February 20, 2024, at 1:30 pm at Dailey's Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will take place at the Blount County/ Cleveland Funeral Home on the same day from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm.

The family would like to thank the staff of Enhabit Hospice, for all they have done to care for Mr. Hawkins.
