Vera Mae Griffin age 88, of Oneonta passed away Thursday, September 9th, 2021 at her residence. Survivors include husband Eldred Mack Griffin, son Randall Mack Griffin (Connie Ann), daughter Connie Sue Henson (Kevin), grandsons Josh and Jonathon Price, Grant Griffin, granddaughter Charity and nine great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Ace and Luvernia Johnson and grandchild Lee Stockman. The family will receive friends at the Blount County/Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel 17885 State Hwy 160 Cleveland, Alabama 35049 Monday, September 13th, 2021 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am. Funeral Services will be held Monday, September 13th, 2021 at 11:00 am in the Blount County/Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow at Greens Chapel cemetery. Mrs. Griffin was married to her husband Eldred Mack Griffin for 72 years . She worked at Elrod's Shoe store until she retired. Mrs. Griffin was known for her outstanding baking talents, especially her Peanut Butter cake and Italian cream. Blount County/Cleveland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
