William Mack Summerford, known affectionately as Bill, passed away on April 26, 2025, at the age of 76 in Birmingham, Alabama. Born on February 27, 1949, in Alabama, Bill was a cherished member of his community and a devout attendee of Grace Baptist Church.

Bill was a beloved husband to Reta Summerford (Davis) for 57 remarkable years. He was a father to Scott Summerford and Kristin Borden (Nick), and a brother to Ronnie, Benny, Patricia Blunt, Bobbie Foster, and Karen Smith. Bill's life was enriched by his grandchildren Jordan (Ashley), Nikolas (Holli), and Trey (Jaycie) Borden, and his great-grandchildren Waylon "Mack" Summerford, and Lilli, Molli, and Josie Borden.

He was preceded in death by his son Jamie Summerford, son-in-law Nick Borden, brother Donnie Summerford, sister Sandra Hall, and grandchild Colton Borden.

Bill was a man of deep faith, often found sharing his beliefs and reading his Bible. He was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather, and his love for his family was profound. Known for his humble nature and sense of humor, Bill also enjoyed fishing, hunting, and tinkering in the garage, activities that brought him much joy and peace.

Funeral services will be held at the Blount County/Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, May 2, 2025, at 1:00 pm, with visitation beginning at 11:00 am the same day. The service will be officiated by Bro. Ronnie Graves, and burial will follow at Sharon Church Cemetery in Pinson, Alabama. Pallbearers include Scott
