Mrs. Willie Mae Herndon age 80, of Cleveland passed away Saturday, June 13th, 2020 at her residence. Survivors include sons Bobby Herndon (Teresa) and Robert Herndon, daughter Linda Gable (Jeffery), sister Peggy Holt (Frank), 6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Mrs. Herndon is preceded in death by her parents Willie and Vena (Crowe) Thomas, husband TJ Herndon, sisters Annie Burgess and Frances Green. The family will receive friends at the Blount County/ Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel 17885 State Hwy 160 Cleveland, Alabama 35049, on Tuesday, June 16th, 2020 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, June 16th, 2020 at 1:00 pm, in the Blount County/ Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow at Shoal Creek Missionary Baptist cemetery in Hayden, Alabama. Mrs. Herndon enjoyed crocheting and roses. She loved her family dearly. Blount County/Cleveland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
