Mrs. Willie Sue Shelley Kirkland, age 72, of Cleveland passed away Wednesday, June 3rd, 2015 at St. Vincent's East Hospital. Mrs. Kirkland loved to travel especially out west, she had a fondness for cake decorating and adored crocheting. Survivors include husband Leonard Kirkland; sons Marty and Steven (Amie) Kirkland; sisters Gaynell Bryan, Barbara Lee, Patsy Epperson, Claudette Brown; and a host of friends and neighbors. She is preceded in death by her parents C.R. and Dessie Shelley. The family will receive friends at the Blount County Cleveland Funeral Home 17885 State Highway 160 Cleveland, Alabama 35049 on Friday, June 5th, 2015 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, June 6th, 2015 at 12:00 pm in Blount County Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow at Dailey's Chapel Cemetery in Rosa, Alabama. Blount County/ Cleveland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
